Heat Thunder Game Re-Cap
Alright, now that was a basketball game! Playoff atmosphere for sure. Miami squeek by with a 103-97 win over the Thunder in the third game today. This was a very intense game with both sides going back and forth. Tempers and emotions were flying as there were many altercations that took place. But really it all came down to the last play of the game and whether or not Dwayne Wade fouled Russell Westbrook.
Nevertheless the Miami Heat were just too much for the Thunder down in south beach. LeBron James finished with 29 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Wade, who left in the third quarter for a brief periode with leg cramps, ended with 21 and Chalmers put in 20.
Oklahoma City put up a very good fight as Kevin Durant ended with 33 points and 7 rebounds while his robin, Russell Westbrook put in 21 points and 11 rebounds. I still am not a huge fan of Westbrooks game, esspecially running the point. He only got 3 assists and thats not enough if you’re going to be a championship level point guard. As for Durant, well he was being Durant. He and LeBron went shot for shot at the end of the game and neither one gave an inch.
Well, I hope that if there was one game you were able to catch today, it was this one. Because that game was a glimps of what is to come jn the spring. That was playoff basketball. Enjoy the last two games today, Chicago and Houston, then the Clippers play the Nuggets. Happy Holidays!
