Calm down, calm down. The Miami Heat just had a little miss hap. No need to panic guys, no need for panic. Although, i’m not gonna lie, it was a bit uneasy watching the Heat lose those back to back games to Indiana after Chris Bosh went down, and it started to look like things were changing and it was still not Lebron James‘ year. Well, we were all wrong.
Dwayne Wade had one bad game in game 3 that consisted of him shooting extremely poorly, but he bounced back and changed things in games 4 and 5 thanks to his buddy wearing number 6. It looked as if Wade was going to continue his shooting woes in game 4 until the Heat came out of the locker room at half time and LeBron, well he played like the 3 time MVP. He got Wade going down low, which led to him a 14 point third quarter on 6 of 6 shooting. In the quarter LeBron also put in 14 points and 3 assists, all to Wade. This sparked the Heat as the came back and took game 3 to tie the series up at 2 games each. The Pacers were shellshocked and the Heat had the momentum, this carried out all the way to game five yesterday down in south beach at the American Airlines Arena. The Heats big two of James and Wade combined for a modest 58 points and multiple highlight plays.
On top of that, the injury bug hit Indiana after stopping in Miami to take out Bosh. Yesterdays game consisted of both Danny Granger and David West to suffer injuries. Grangers was an ankle injury early in the game, he came back and re-aggrevated the ankle and needed to be carted off to the dressing room. West injured his knee in the second half. The result, Indiana was out its two best players, and the Heatles were going off. It’s not looking good for the Pacers, but if Granger and West can play in game 6 it could be an interesting game when the series shifts back to Indiana.
As a Celtics fan, this is what I’m thinking, When the Celtics beat the 76ers tonight, they will be content to play the Heat if Bosh is still injured. Also, if Avery Bradley is good to go for that series he will had no issues guarding Dwayne Wade and he can effectively take him out of the series. Wow, I love these playoffs, that’s all I have to say.
